In Episode 4 Of The Yard Podcast Brother Albert Talks About His Journey From Big Money Sonny To Brother Albert.
When you meet Brother Albert you would never imagine the life he used to live. When he realized that selling drugs was the only way out of his situation, growing up with parents who sold, surrounded by people who sold and living through several raids by law enforcement as a child it wasn’t an option it was a way of life and Brother Albert knew he had to do it bigger and better, and he did. That’s why he became known as Big Money Sonny.
But that way of life led him and his brother to Federal Prison and some of the worst federal prisons in the country. They made a true blood brothers pact, cutting their fingers and vowing to one another if one wasn’t going to make it out alive, neither of them would. Luckily they both did.
During his incarceration Brother Albert found his way to god and redemption holding himself to a higher level and a higher calling which he embraced as he segued to the free world.
In this amazing episode of The Yard Podcast Brother Albert breaks down talking about the revenge he wanted to take on the man who “snitched him out” and how he forgave that man after all of these years. He also talks about the pain he felt leading his own brother into federal prison. It’s these life events that have driven him in this new life to help save other young men from the perils that he and his brother once faced.
Personally, this may be the best episode I’ve done to date, it’s filled with raw emotion from someone who once ran some of the streets in Miami.
