As many people reenter society from state and federal prison they struggle with everyday things that occur in life. Many have completely put the thought of life insurance out of their minds because so many big insurance companies completely black ball people who have been incarcerated from getting life insurance. Kyle sits down with two Insurance professionals from New York Life and we talk about real insurance solutions not just for former prison inmates but there are even some life insurance products for inmates in prison.

Why would an inmate in prison need life insurance?

Prison is not a happy place. Healthcare is lackluster at best and unfortunately violence, injuries and even death are an every day ocurrance for inmates in federal prison and state prison. With life insurance the inmates family who is already burdened by supporting their family and their inmate in prison, would not be burdoned with those end of life things that can really add up to significant costs.
