Starting this Tuesday, August 19th, inmates are purported to once again have access to 510 total minutes per month. If they’re FSA eligible and programming to their FSA needs, they will be given 300 free minutes per month with the ability to buy 210 additional minutes.
However, if inmates are not FSA eligible or programming to their FSA needs, then they can instead buy all 510 minutes per month.
The 510 minute cap on monthly phone use has been in place since the 90s. Unfortunately, this will remain the case, and there are no rumors or reliable sources claiming this will change.
Beginning Tuesday morning, there will be a brief period of time in which phones will be offline while this update takes place.
