Diddy Sentenced To 50 Months In Federal Prison When Will He Be Home?
Sean P. Diddy Combs was sentenced to 50 months in Federal Prison today in the Southern District of New York, after being found guilty of two counts of “Transportation to Engage in Prostitution”. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of “RICO” and Sex Trafficking.
“Transportation to Engage in Prostitution” is not one of the 68 enumerated offenses that are restricted from the First Step Act. He is also fully Second Chance Act eligible which means he falls into the category of inmates that can move to “pre-release” custody on their Statutory Maximum Home Confinement eligibility date. So when is that for Diddy.
November 27, 2026
How do we get that?
First we take his sentencing calculation start date of September 16, 2024.
Then we find out what date is exactly 50 months from that date which is November 16, 2028 that’s the full term maximum date and it’s actually irrelevant.
We then calculate the date that’s exactly 85% between September 16, 2024 and November 16, 2028. That is his Good Conduct Time date which is: April 3, 2028.
Next you count how many days are between October 3, 2025 and April 3, 2028: 912 days
Next we subtract 60 days from that to signify the first 6 months in post sentence federal prison where the inmate only earns 10 days per month instead of 15 that gives us 852 days. So Diddy will earn 852 days of FSA credit while in federal prison.
The last piece of the puzzle is to add 852 to September 16, 2025 and you get November 27, 2026 that is Diddy’s Statutory Maximum Home Confinement Eligibility Date.
