R. Kelly Is Over His Sentence And Wants Out
Earlier this week, several news outlets have reported that R. Kelly has filed a motion from Butner, North Carolina, a medium security facility, where he is currently serving his 30 year sentence, seeking a presidential pardon.
According to his claims, two men affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood, at the request of BOP correctional officers, tried to end his life.
This story has been widely reported, but many people feel that it’s false. It’s one thing to have an opinion, but given that Kyle Sandler, the founder of Federal Prison Tips, spent time at the Butner complex, his first hand account of the complex makes it even more difficult to believe.
So, how did this happen? Who knows.
Regardless, reports are widespread that Kelly is now seeking a presidential pardon from federal prison. The convicted sex offender has his attorney talking to high level sources within the Trump administration.
The only connection Kelly, who’s real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, has to Donald Trump, is that he once had a condominium or apartment in Chicago’s Trump Tower for several years.
It is very difficult and rare for sex offenders to get presidential pardons. Very, very rare.
Do you think R. Kelly will get his way?
