3 Federal Prison Tips Clients We Helped Minimize Their Federal Prison Sentence without snitching
Now that you’ve been charged with a federal crime the first thing you’re thinking about is minimizing your exposure, minimizing your time in federal prison. We take calls all the time from clients and potential clients who have attorneys tell them that they can get “probation” even with losses in the millions, that’s just not going to happen.
It doesn’t matter how good your narrative is, it doesn’t matter who you know, most judges are going to go by the United States Sentencing Guidelines for basic economic offenses if you have a white collar crime. Even if it’ s a drug crime we can often times help you get under, without snitching.
Even though founded by a well known white collar defendant, Kyle Sandler, who’s crime was featured on HBO and Hulu, Federal Prison Tips does not just offer White Collar Advice we don’t discriminate because federal prison is after all federal prison.
When hiring a federal prison consultant you need to realize it is what it is, we are prison consultants we consult people going to federal prison and provide post conviction assistance. When facing federal prison you need to look at consultants and companies who have people who have actually been to federal prison, run by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and not GEO or Core Civic Facilities (although we’ve been there too). In this industry experience matters… most.
We’ve helped hundreds of individuals just like yourself, navigate federal prison and minimize their exposure and their time spent in federal prison. Realize that 5k1.1 and Rule 35 are snitching, there’s no way around that. Now sometimes you’re forced into that position, but don’t think it’s the only way to minimize your sentence or exposure. When you get into an actual federal prison that 5k1.1 or Rule 35 will show up on your paper work regardless of what you heard and that could cause trouble, danger or at the least discomfort, when going to an actual federal prison, even a federal prison camp.
Here are three actual justice impacted individuals we helped reduce their time or exposure without snitching.
Ryan G in New York 24 Month Sentence, 3 Months and 2 Weeks Served
Through a combination of great sentence mitigation, post conviction filings and advocacy, Ryan in New York was able to limit his stay at the Federal Prison Camp in Otisville to just 3 months and 2 weeks after being sentenced to 24 months. We started working with him 7 months before surrender and consistently through the 3 months and 2 weeks, to this day. Ryan met with us and one of our partners in New York who is an expert in that facility. Ryan utilized our platinum package (found here)
Alan at a Low
2241 Reduced His Fedeal Prison Sentence to SMHCED
Alan’s wife contacted us out of growing frustration. Like many of you, dates kept getting pushed back and memo after memo was produced saying that FSA and SCA were stackable and being enforced yet like so many of you, Alan’s case manager in federal prison wasn’t budging.
Alan, who strives to maintain clear conduct, contacted us through US Mail and through his wife and we helped prepare his pro se 2241 and now he is going home on his Statutory Maximum Home Confinement Eligbility Date.
Right now, because of all the mixed messages coming from the BOP we’ve discounted 2241 and we are having them ready for signature in 7 days. Click here
Thomas C 30 Months to A Year and A Day Without Snitching

Thomas has been sentenced to a year and a day in Federal Prison after the United States Attorney’s Office was seeking 30 Months. Thomas had a personal narrative prepared by Sam Mangel, an independent white collar federal prison consultant who has done BOP time. We helped Thomas mitigate further with his mitigation binder and aligning his allocution to the story told in his mitigation binder.
Many of our clients don’t have the luxury of self reporting. Some of the ones who do, waste the time by sulking, being mad at the world and insisting they didn’t do anything wrong. Thomas on the other hand accepted responsibility from the start, sought counseling, went through a 12 step program (of his own accord), stayed active in his community, volunteered, worked and documented the entire journey. He showed up for court dressed appropriately, acted responsibly and respectfully and with our counsel, Sam’s counsel and narrative and his mitigation binder the judge saw an entire picture of the journey he has been through since “the feds kicked the door in”.
For so many of our justice impacted clients who do get to self report, redemption, retribution and rehabilitation started the day the “feds kicked the door in” make sure you have a team with real experience through the system and through federal prison (and the First Step Act) at your fingertips with one of our consulting plans from federal prison tips.
We are open 7 days a week at 407-434-0175 and 24 hours a day here at federalprisontips.com
