Award Winning Documentary About Former Federal Inmate Cindy Shank Highlights The Problems with Biden’s Mandatory Minimums
This morning I took 86 minutes of my life to watch the most important movie I have ever seen. The movie, The Sentence, is an award winning documentary about the plight of Cindy Shank a mother of three beautiful children who after 6 years of rebuilding her life, was ripped away from her family because a former boyfriend was selling drugs.
Shank herself had never sold drugs, but because she had lived with this other man 6 years before her arrest, while the crime was going on, she was part of a drug conspiracy that carried a mandatory minimum of 15 years, which she was sentenced to.
