Thank you for trusting Federal Prison Tips LLC to assist you or your loved one as they navigate their journey for the often confusing Federal Prison System. Whether you’ve signed up for our concierge or platinum consulting services, a post conviction retainer or a simple project please know that you’re getting a team of people who’ve all been through Federal Prison themselves. Together we have a combined total of over 100 years in federal prison from minimum camp to USP. Here is some useful information about working with Federal Prison Tips LLC.
- Our office hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-10pm (Eastern) and Sundays 12pm-7pm (Eastern). There is always a team member answering the phone during those hours. If we don’t answer, we’re on the other line with another justice impacted client with a loved one in federal prison, simply leave a voicemail message and someone will get back to you. There is no reason to hang up and call back repeatedly.
- Consultation Fees: Our first consultation is free, but after that we charge a $300/hr fee billed per quarter hour for non clients. The best bet is to get a consulting package or for access via corrlinks, email and mycase sign up for our monthly subscription plan here
- Remember every single person who calls us has a loved one in federal prison that they want home, NOW! What your loved one is going through is also very important and very complex.
- Every Federal Prison Tips team member has a Federal Prison Tips email address and it’s their first name at federalprisontips.com for example meg@federalprisontips.com is one of our consultants and our social media manager. No one at Federal Prison Tips will ever email you from a domain name outside of federalprisontips.com
- Of course “We know what it’s like” to be in Federal Prison, in fact, in some cases better than a loved one because every single person on the Federal Prison Tips team has been through it themselves. It’s insulting to say “you don’t know what it’s like”
- Documents, filings, paperwork etc can be uploaded easily via mycase. Once you’re an official client (and have received this information sheet) then you should have access to the mycase client portal. If not email your contact at Federal Prison Tips today.
- The MyCase client portal and email are the best way to contact our team after your initial contact. While we have someone to answer the phone 66 hours per week, phone calls actually slow the whole process down, not just for you, for everyone. However, for consulting clients, phone call sessions are included in the package and expected.
- Everyone knows Kyle. Yes Kyle started Federal Prison Tips and he’s the host of all of our vides (1500+) you’re not just hiring Kyle, you’re hiring the whole team. We all work together, we’re all extremely well versed in Federal Prison and we can all help you. Gold packages feature 1 (one) call with Kyle. Platinum packages are able to schedule calls with Kyle and Total Package can call Kyle at will.Because of our popularity Kyle only takes scheduled phone calls that must be scheduled through another team member.
- We also do not “farm” work out to others, everyone that works with you is an employee of Federal Prison Tips LLC.
- Federal Prison Tips LLC is not a law firm. All of our team members who assist by drafting pro se motions are paralegals with wide and diverse backgrounds, experience and “wins” in federal criminal law.
- No news is good news. After your initial intake (unless you are a consulting client) the best way to communicate is through the mycase client portal or email. No news is good news and there is no need to call and “check up on things”. There are anticipated delivery dates on all payment transaction receipts and our website at federalprisontips.com/services Feel free to call during our business hours but remember that’s often not necessary. We will definitely reach out to you if there are any questions in regards to the project we are helping you with.
- Our customer service department is (407)434-0175 ext 4 they can also be reached at service@federalprisontips.com please allow 24-48 hours for someone to get back to you.
- Continuing the work process is vital to all of our clients. In order to facilitate this if you call our office before the delivery date of your motion you will incur a $120 service fee per call, that will be billed to your account and must be paid in full, prior to shipping your work product to the inmate/defendant or the court.
The General Manager of Federal Prison Tips LLC is Nelson Rodriguez at nelson@federalprisontips.com and our Director of Legal Services is Chris Kent at chris@federalprisontips.com
Delegating the day to day operations of Federal Prison Tips to Nelson and Chris allows me the opportunity to advocate for inmates in federal prison at a national level, handle issues at a macro level and handle large multi layer cases, as the founder of Federal Prison Tips though, you can always email me at kyle@federalprisontips.com but sometimes it does take 3-5 days for me to respond as I regularly receive 200 emails per day. Thank you again for trusting Federal Prison Tips LLC – Kyle Sandler August 2025
