Here at Federal Prison Tips we offer a team of Federal Prison consultants who can answer questions as simple as “what can I bring with me when I self report” to as complex as “how can I reduce my sentence with the First Step Act” and everything in between.

The earlier you engage with a prison consultant the better. We (or any of the other great prison consultants out there) can engage with you beginning before indictment and personally, FPT stays with you throughout your bid to ensure that you have someone to give advice and help out even while you or your loved one is serving time.

We have three different consluting package; Bronze, Gold and Platinum. All of our pricing is “all in” and unlimited within your plan and the minimum we stay with. you is for 3 years. We will be in your corner for you, even in prison, through corrlinks/trulincs (Federal Prison Email) and the wall phone (inmates have a special number to call). We will also stay in contact with one person on your behalf out here on the street for anything and everything concerning prison.

With our plans, the earlier you sign up, the more we can do for you (and it’s the same price whether you sign up at indictment or a day before self-surrender).

Our services include:

• Plea review and analysis (regardless of how many offers you receive)We will review every plea you receive and send you a detailed report (for each plea) outlining things to review and forward to your attorney.
  
  
• PSI preparation in a one to two hour phone or zoom meeting we will discuss the ins and outs of the PSI Interview, and help coach you on answering the questions for the best possible outcome.
  
  
• PSR challenge assistance. Every defendant is entitled to a two week period (14 days) to challenge things found in your PSR report, pertaining to your background, life circumstances and enhancements. We will review the PSR with you and help you formulate challenges for your attorney
  
  
• Score calculation and review: We will assist you in calculating your sentencing table placement, custody score and PATTERN score and help you understand what each factor means
  
  
• Sentencing factor and table analysis. We will make sure that the sentence or guideline range being offered is accurate and explain what all those numbers mean.
  
  
• First Step Act planning We are uniquely positioned as some of the only consultants with real “first step act” experience. In fact founder Kyle Sandler was the 8th man out of BOP custody under First Step Act. This experience means that most of our clients have done between 48-52% of their time in federal prison.
  
  
• Pre Incarceration Assistance. We are there to answer calls, texts and emails pertaining to anything that pertains to your federal prison sentence.
  
  
  
  
• RDAP Assessment. We will evaluate your RDAP eligibility and help you determine if RDAP is the best solution for you
  
  
• Assistance with Pro Se’ motions*. All of our post-conviction work is reviewed by a member of the bar. We assist the justice impacted with motions for: habeas corpus relief, 3582, 2255, 821, 814, early termination and FSA issues.
  
  
• Letter review and preparation. We will have a session or two to go over the best possible people in your life to write letters on your behalf and the ins and outs of what you should say.
  
  
• Administrative Remedy Assistance. Because we stay with our clients for at least 3 years we are there to help formulate administrative remedies and help you understand the procedure.
  
  
• DHO Assistance (Discipline Hearing). If god forbid you get in trouble in prison we can help you understand what’s going to happen at DHO, what to say at DHO, if you should use witnesses and the rules of DHO
  
  
• We will work with you in prison and one “sponsor” or loved one outside to keep your stakeholders involved
